On 4th October 2020, Mymensingh 50MW solar PV project, Bangladesh's largest solar PV plant, developed by HDFC Sinpower Ltd., successfully received COD（Commercial Operation Date） confirmation from Bangladesh Power Development Board.
NR Electric, as a solution provider, provided the complete protection and control equipment, solar SCADA and Power Plant Control (PPC) system for this project. With the advanced PPC control scheme, NR helps the plant to meet Bangladesh Grid code and NLDC control requirements. NR has also supplied protection and SCADA system to another two ground PV stations located at Tetulia and Sirajganj.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the project execution team faces big challenges to commission the plant on time. To overcome the difficulties, NR service team provided online support with the joint efforts from EPC Company, the plant commissioning was ensured.
