On October 29, 2025, NR Electric, a global leader in power automation and energy storage, and Pacific Green, an internationally renowned energy storage developer, officially signed Global Strategic Cooperation Agreement at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia. The two companies will focus on innovation and application of grid-forming energy storage technology, jointly expanding the Australian and global energy storage markets, and contributing to the development of a more stable and efficient new power system.

This collaboration marks a milestone in the deep synergy between the two companies in the field of energy storage. With decades of technical expertise in power system protection and control, as well as advanced grid-forming energy storage solutions, NR has become a key partner for Pacific Green’s major projects in Australia.
NR’s Ideal Synchronous Grid-forming Solution (NR-ISGrid) can operate as an independent power system or work seamlessly with other sources such as renewable power, hydropower, thermal power, and synchronous condensers. The NR-ISGrid solution perfectly meets the Australian grid’s requirements for grid-forming technology, effectively addressing challenges such as low system strength and weak stability caused by high renewable energy penetration.
