The centralized and distributed busbar protection provide scalable busbar and breaker failure protection for various busbar configurations. The distributed busbar protection consists of one Central Unit (CU) and a number of Bay Units (BU). The central unit links to bay units via optical fibers in point-to-point communication mode. The patented weighted anti-saturation algorithm in the current differential protection quickly clears internal fault during CT saturation while keeps security to external fault.
